According to the TM statement, this was due to Hong Kong segment failure, however repair work will only begin on Wednesday, 1 October 2014 and expected to be completed on Monday, 6 October 2014. The repair work is largely depends on the sea condition. If there is any typhoon or tsunami, the repair would probably being delayed.
